Ok, so a few days ago I posted how UPS left my package outside in the rain with nothing over it & my STDs were ruined. Well... They did it, again!!! I got home to a box that looked like it was thrown from the UPS van on my lawn. I go inside with the soaked box, open it & the envelopes were ruined....

I got home to a box that looked like it was thrown from the UPS van on my lawn. I go inside with the soaked box, open it & the envelopes were ruined. Yes, they were wrapped, but one of the corners snagged & they got wet Smiley sad I'm sooo over it! I don't know how much common sense these drivers have?! It has literally been raining all day in Tampa & won't stop for the next week. How hard is it to put the package near the door so it'll stay dry??? I did call & make a complaint to UPS against the driver. Then, I emailed WPD & just asked them to send only envelopes (for the magnet std) to be sent via USPS mail. I just can't win! (Rant over)

I am surprised. UPS is usually pretty good. In fact I got a call from them 2 weeks ago and they refunded my money because a package I sent to Seattle was a day late. I am waiting for Hollywood Bowl tickets to be delivered today by UPS. Go down to the local UPS and talk to a manager. This type of service is unacceptable.

UPS should pay for the invitations. Disgraceful! I am so sorry you are going through this.

I recently ordered a small fan from Amazon and the driver left the fan, which was not in another box, just a label slapped on the manufacturers box, in the pouring rain (it was raining all day so it wasn't like it was nice out and started raining after he left the package). Yup, a soaking wet electrical appliance. This was delivered by an Amazon local driver. Amazon customer service shipped another fan immediately and it arrived on a Sunday and told me to throw out the previous fan. My point? Sometimes the service is generally good but you get one rogue/dummy employee. You should make sure you file a complaint with UPS in person.

What!? If you haven't already, call UPS. I had issues with my UPS driver, and after finally filing a complaint, I haven't had any more issues.

Can you have it set to deliver at a certain time, or set so you have to sign for it(no sign no leave) type thing?

Omg I'm so sorry! That really sucks. I've never had an issue with UPS... actually I've had issues with USPS almost every time I've received a package from them and UPS has always given stellar service IMO. Sorry it's not the same for you Smiley sad

@KBtoKB2018: by the time I get out of work the UPS store is closed.

@Alana: I had the UPS alerts & my family from ott was there, they left the door open on purpose (we've got a glass door also), lights were on & they didn't even knock on the door.

@Erika: I called & spoke to 3 managers/supervisors. They all got my wrath!

@Shana: I'm going tomorrow morning to show them everything. I told them that someone is giving my money back!

@Blair: I've had tons of UPS packages delivered & this is the first (now second) time I've had them damage my stuff.

@Jill: no plastic bags here. How annoying!!

@Heather: I'll be at the store tomorrow with my damaged goods

@FutureMrs: it was UPS. I've never had an issue before this

    @Nicole: that's a great idea!

@firstoneat56: it is! I'm definitely going to the store to take care of it. I could tell that after 5 days (the waiting time they give you) nothing will be done.

@robyn R: I work at a hospital & I never know what time I'll get out. My boss wouldn't like the idea of having my packages sent to work.

@QueSeraSera: I told the supervisor that I don't care, but they're paying for it. I didn't care if they have to take the money from the driver's paycheck!

@Jennifer: I'm going to try my hardest to not use UPS. If I have to, I'll have it sent to the store, I'm over them!

@Teresa: we never know what time we'll get home from work. We always miss deliveries. If I happen to us them again, I'll definitely have a signature required.

@milinovemberbride: my USPS people are great. They'll put packages in bags or leave a note for me to pick them up at usps office.
