What about removing the top part of the Sleeve that is solid and using just the lace part. Still breathable and about 3/4 length so getting too hot shouldn't be an issue.

It's beautiful and it looks wonderful on you! The sleeves look great but I would be taking them off for me personally because I get warm VERY easily and I wouldn't want to be uncomfortable. ETA if you don't warm up that easily, then I vote for keeping them. That's just how I would do it for my own comfort. But they are gorgeous.

I was going to suggest what Amanda Z. said about shortening the sleeves and just keeping the lace part. What a pretty dress! Can't wait to see the finished product.

That is such a good idea to move up the lace part and doing a shorter sleeve. I'm going to talk to the seamstress about it!! My mom loves the idea. Y'all are the best!!!
