Does your reception venue have a private area where a ceremony could be performed? If not,are there any other reception venues in the area which could host a ceremony? This could be a great option if you’re struggling to find somewhere!

My cousin got married on Presque Isle at the gazebo near the breakwall. It was really pretty there. She had about 20-30 people at the ceremony. The only negative thing was that it was pretty chilly (in August), because of the wind coming off of lake superior. I toyed with the idea of getting married there also, but ultimately decided against it. I've also seen people get married at the pavilion, which holds more people and is inside. Also the bandshell is nice too, and holds more people. I think Presque Isle is beautiful, so I hope it works out for you!! Good luck!

Do you mind if I ask where you chose to get married at? I’m not from Michigan so I am struggling to find a location for 100ish people!

I had a friend get married there in September 2016. He said it was beautiful. they also used the gazebo. the pictures were stunning, but they did say it was kind of cold, but in August you should be fine

I just went and looked at his wedding album, and from the looks of it they had between 75 and 100 people. I wrote to ask him if I could share a picture but he hasn't responded yet
