Unmatched bridesmaid dresses?

I gave my girls guidelines (white, long or high low) and they’re deciding from there! My bridesmaids have their dresses but my MOH is still looking. I’m giving them free reign on shoes and accessories, as long as they’re colorful.

We did this, they all looked and felt great.

I dont think choosing a coordinated shoe color is super necessary if they all have long dresses since no one will really see them, but it’s fine too

I agree about the shoes, but my girls were worried - and bridesmaids are used to checking everything with the bride. So I told them, nude... It seemed neutral and easy to find. And since my color is pale - it will look pretty. If they choose a slit it will work too. Honestly, it was a cop out because it doesn't matter to me. But, they feel better. lol!

I gave my 2 BMs a DB color and said buy what you like as long as it’s the purple I picked out. MOH got hers the day I bought my dress. Knee length, strapless, great. BM had twins last year and has been trying to lose the baby weight before buying her dress. Wedding in November though, so time is getting short.

My girls are all doing the same color but different dresses.

It just depends on what you want your pictures to look like. I did the mismatch bridesmaids at my first wedding. The plan was for purple tops and black skirts or solid purple dresses. I had one purple dress, one purple top and black skirt, and one all black dress (yes you read that right). I did not like how it turned out at all. This time around all my bridesmaids will be wearing the same dress and color.

I am doing same color dress, all floor length. But I let them pick what style they wanted. I want each BM and MoH to be comfortable in what they are wearing.

I told mine long, navy blue Katie May dresses. Four out of the six purchased them from poshmark/ ebay, the other two from BHLDN. Here's the final result:

I'm doing mismatched dresses too. I created a color scheme for my girls and gave them the option to shop at Azazie or David's Bridal. I've helped a couple of them choose their dresses out, but I know it's going to turn out well. The girls are excited to choose their dresses.
