Unity ceremony ideas

I would ask him what he can build on about 5 minutes, maybe 10 tops. Otherwise, can he pre-make some pieces that can be assembled in about 5-10 minutes? Because watching someone build something for longer than that may feel very drawn out for guests. In all honesty, the ceremony in and of itself is a unity ceremony, so don't feel pressured to add extra. Maybe you can incorporate his carpentry skills some other way, like maybe you 2 can build a bench together and guests can sign that as a guest book?

If you are a Christian couple, you can build a unity cross at your ceremony. Your fiance puts the vertical piece on the backboard. You place the horizontal piece. You both place the nail in the center together. There is an explanation for each piece on the website for the officiant to explain during the ceremony. We had to buy it from the website, but it would be more meaningful if your husband made the unity cross himself!!

Perhaps a bird house, you guys can hand outside?
