So we got told we can’t have a popcorn bar at our reception venue because of the mess it makes unless we have someone “attending” it all night. I don’t want to ask someone to do that. I’d like to find something a little unique that wouldn’t have to be kept under heating lamps or kept on ice all night. Basically something relatively hassle free once set up and cost effective. Anyone have any cool ideas??

If you really like the idea of a popcorn bar, would they let you set it up with the popcorn pre-packaged into bags/containers? That could be pretty affordable and could really cut down on the mess. (These pictures are all from Pinterest.)

Every time I considered a popcorn bar my mind always went straight to the mess lol but we are having quite a few children and I could just imagine the havoc that would ensue with that combination.
I think anything the guests would have to assemble themselves could end up being messy, so anything that the guests can just pick up and go seem to be the most convenient.

We were thinking of having a pretzel bar! The big soft pretzels, since there are so many different kinds, like cinammon, salted, dips of all kinds, and you could also do regular pretzels, rods, chocolate covered, etc.
