For unity ceremony, you could do things like a whiskey unity ceremony (https://whiskeymade.com/whiskey-wedding-guide/how-to-have-a-whiskey-blending-wedding-ceremony/), or a tree planting ceremony, or artwork (create a painting together, create a mosaic with stained glass pieces, etc), or incorporate one of your shared hobbies! For favors, this would be a really cool place to incorporate something that really describes you and your fiance! If you both love to travel, luggage tags with a cute phrase about love would be a great favor! If you both are into sports, gourmet cookies decorated as a soccer ball/basketball/baseball/etc would be fun. A deck of cards if you often do game nights or enjoy going to the casino. Mini bottles of wine if you both love visiting wineries. A mini picture frame with a generic love quote. Also take your venue or the area you're getting married in into account: a pine scented candle would be perfect for a forest wedding or if you're getting married among the trees. Seashell Christmas ornaments would be great for a beach wedding. If you're getting married in Florida (or anywhere else known for oranges), orange slice candies would be great favors. Edible favors are usually more popular. Make sure to choose something that you wouldn't mind having a bunch of leftovers of. Also, try to only put your name/wedding date on the packaging and not the actual favor (unless the favor is edible or a deck of cards or something). For example, most guests probably wouldn't use a picture frame with someone else's name/wedding date on it, though would be more likely to use it if it had a generic love quote on it. Favors are also totally fine to skip!

We had this board made and then hung it in our entry way. I bough 2 side picture frames and added pictures from the wedding. People always talk about it when they come to our house.

We're thinking of doing a guest book that uses polaroids of the guests- something that would be able to be hung up in a frame on the wall. We wanted a way to be able to remember who was there without them having to write something, unless they wanted to write something on the back of the polaroid

Thank you everyone for the great ideas! We decided to do unity glass for our unity ceremony but are still thinking about what to do for guest books and favors! Please keep the ideas coming!

We are doing a map of our location that we're getting married at with the coordinates underneath (etsy find) It goes along with our 'stars above' pictures from when we met and when we got engaged and the map/coordinates of our house we bought together that are framed in our living room!
