We are having drink donkeys during cocktail hour! It was a bit of a splurge but they are adorable and we know everyone will get a kick out of it! Also, thinking of making champagne popsicles for the toasts rather than glasses of champagne- our wedding is going to be on the laid back side and we want to keep things fun!

I'm having a love quote or small poem written on my cake. And framed poetry/love quotes on the tables instead of table #s. Find your seat by finding your author table "Jane Austin, Shakespeare, Christopher Marlow etc"

We 3D printed little bicycles for our escort cards, so that's a little different. At the end of the day we just wanted a relaxed, laid-back vibe and we got it -- not original, but still awesome.

Love the cupcake chairs! The only thing we are doing different is that we will have a special dance for us (the newlyweds) and the longest married couple to "Don't blink" by Kenny Chesney afterwich we give my bouquet and a bottle of champagne to them. No bouquet/garter toss. We just love that idea.

If I can find them (a couple might not exist), I'd like to put a picture of us at each wedding we have attended together (8 so far) because I think it would be nice to show us celebrating with each of the couples at their weddings/receptions, kind of showing respect for all the marriages we have been honored to witness together. Not sure yet where exactly this should go ..... trying not to overthink it since we may not have taken pictures at all of them.

@futureMrs.DAO they're donkeys with satchels that carry around drinks to your guests during cocktail hour! The handlers stay with them, and let people take pictures and pet them (they're super sweet!). And my big question before we booked - they wear discreet diapers so no donkey poo at the venue lol.

Nothing original here. I am not crafty enough and sticking to the budget we set and unless I cut down the guest list there isn't too terribly much left. And I splurged early on booking my photographer so there went the extra funds lol.

I personally haven't seen a coffee cake wedding cake before which I'm really excited about!

We are also doing a crystal unity ceremony which I saw exactly once on a blog.

We are hoping to afford dueling pianos for our entertainment

We are serving a combination of Latin and Italian food tapas style. W the addition of a paella and pasta stations. Hoping to provide a taste of both cultures.

We're taking everyone who wants to go sailing on a tall ship.
