undergarment help! Spanx or waist nipper

I'd personally like to know the results any of these undergarments gave ppl.

I wear a spanx on a daily basis and have learned how to buy them. You have to make sure when you shopping for them, it has Lycra in the material. Lycra is the material that really helps with bringing in your waist. If it has alot of spandex it's more like a wearing pantyhose that a tightener. If you really want a slimmer look , use the size chart on the back and go up a letter if you can stand the tightness.

Example : According to the size chart I suppose to buy a F, but I get a E. I wear the High brief and I also purchase mine at Lane Bryant, if you have one in your go there. Hope this helps!

I got the small and I got the trust your thinstincts style, so it was supposed to make me look thinner. It didn't. The saleswoman said, "Oh they don't do that anymore, it just smoothes you out." I was like, well, I need to bring that waist in and make my stomach flatter!

I'm 5'2" and have an hourglass figure which doesn't exactly flatter since I'm short, so I look for every way possible to suck in any extra goo I may have. This works wonders.

Spanx don't ever work for me either. They smooth me out but my stomach still pokes out... that's what I'm trying to SUCK in also! LOL. I've noticed that just being MYSELF and not wearing one makes me look better! hahahahahahah.

I guess try them both, see which one works better. I bought this to go under my dress for my engagement photos, I felt pretty held in from the front. It was pretty tight, I felt more control with it then I did the spanx I bought.

edit: for my photos I wore both my spanx and this miraclesuit, breathing was a little tough, but hey it was just pictures right, and I felt thinner... LOL

Does the waist nipper cut you off at the waist/thigh though? I don't want to have a fat bulge where the waist nipper ends!

Let me find a link to the one that worked. I found it at Kohl's and it's a Flexees from Maidenform. OMG... ladies! When I tell you it gave me an instant flat stomach, I mean, it was amazing!!! Well worth the $34!!

Ok, this is the one I got. In the picture you can't tell that it has like boning on the sides that keep it stiff, and the front has a panel that keeps your stomach flat. It also clasps at the crotch, so you don't have to take it completely off to pee... which is a god-send in a gown, lol. I love this thing!!!! I got it in the nude color.
