Undergarment crisis! Help! 1
Ok here is my issue for reference. I am 11 days out. I thought a strapless bra would be ok but it sticks above the dress. I ordered a backless bra and I’m “well endowed” and y’all it was like sticking some stickers on them and hoping for the best! It’s awful! I need recommendations here! What’s the best bra for a lowered back dress and larger chest size!

Oh no! You definitely don't want your bra showing. My sister-in-law's bra was showing during her entire wedding and it looked awful. Have you considered having cups put in? I had cups in my bra and it worked out well.

I don't think it would hurt to ask. It's amazing what they might be able to do. My sister who was my maid honor told me she hated her dress five days before our wedding so I bought her a different dress and had it shipped to her. Two days prior to the wedding, she took it to the seamstress. The seamstress had it altered for her the next day. I also found this strapless bra on Kohl's. I have never worn this type of bra, but it looks like it could work.

There are extenders your can get online that you hook on the back of the bra and wrap around your midsection to lower the back. Another suggestion would be to angle the back of your strapless bra down a bit and secure in place with double sided tape

Hey!! I had a similar problem with my bra sticking out of my strapless dress, the alterations lady at Davids Bridal is adding some boning with a hook to keep it from showing! I go pick it up tomorrow, i can update this later!

Try boob tape. The extra strong version. It’ll help tremendously.

Thank you for those recommendations! I ordered extenders from amazon. And another cheap option from amazon. I blew $45 on option 1.

That's just a teeeeeeny bit too high. I say keep it simple and just safety pin it down below the seam line after you have the whole thing together. Might need 2-3 safety pins instead of just one in the middle.

Only pin through the bottom layer or behind one of the embellishments to keep the pin hidden.

Have your seamstress sew cups into your dress

I had a low back bridesmaids dress once and there is a strap that you can buy to hook on your original bra to help Lower it.

If you are larger busted, I don’t think cups sewn in will offer enough support, especially with the dress being low in the back too. I would look for a low back corset bra like the one here:

You could even do something similar to this with the full body suit to avoid the line at your waist too. Good luck! It’ll all work out.

Yes! This is my emergency plan. I was so frustrated by how little too high it was. But oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️
