Two Sizes Too Small

Long story short, I learned that one of my bridesmaids intentionally ordered her dress two sizes too small (as a goal to lose weight). The problem is, the dress is going to be discontinued (got it for a steal, though - $50 bucks) and we were told specifically that the dress can be pulled in, but it cannot be let out.

I feel really frustrated, because it seems like an inappropriate thing to do. I have not brought it up with her; one of my other bridesmaids told me about it in confidence. Basically, what do I do if she doesn't lose the weight and can't fit her dress? I'm not about to pressure a girl into losing weight (and I don't think she needs to lose weight in the first place). Do I try to find an alternate dress that looks mostly similar? Do I tell her to squeeze in like a stuffed sausage? Or do I boot her from the party? (I have no beef with uneven sides). Part of me is tempted to buy another dress in her proper size (which I know) as a back up. What do I do?

Update: Over the weekend she invited me over for dinner - I brought some fixins to make turkey meatloaf and bottle of Skinny Girl wine (because I am trying to lose weight myself). We chatted about this and that, and I told her that I'm going to try to lose 30 lbs before the wedding. Then she sheepishly told me that she's also hoping to drop 30 lbs for the wedding, and that she bought her dress a few sizes smaller than her current size. I didn't know what to say so I just shrugged and said, "Maybe we can schedule time to workout together." I'm glad she told me. I think I mostly felt upset that she kept it a secret. I thought | was going to be mad but I just didn't have it in me. All of us are trying to drop the pounds, and it's a challenge. She has a solid goal, and she even said, "I don't have a choice - the dress is discontinued so I HAVE to lose this weight." I told her she was beautiful whether or not she lost the weight. All is well now.
