The best thing about planning your wedding is that it's whatever YOU want . Go ahead and have 2 Maid of Honors. Give them each different responsibilities and don't let others tell you otherwise.

I'm also having two - my sister and my best friend.

I have two also! One is my best friend from high school, the other is my best friend from college. I couldn't choose! I am close to both. Plus I know both of them would have been hurt slightly to have not been picked. So far there has been zero issues. Both are maids of honor as neither are married.

Regarding the comment above about giving them different responsibilities- please don't try to give anyone in your BP "responsibilities" or "duties," etc. other than buying a dress. Bridesmaids & MOHs aren't our ladies in waiting

I have two! They are so sweet planning things together and picking something special for their dresses to stand out!

Quite frankly, I did away with the whole MOH. I don't like labels like that. The girls in my wedding are there for a reason, and their friendship can't be measured or labeled.
