Turn around room for a reception

Lynette, on November 11, 2019 at 11:26 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3
I want an sophisticated and elegant August wedding. However, the venue is in a old community church with beautiful stain glass windows and open space. We’re using the space for both the ceremony and reception. The caterer told us that 1 hour is not enough time to change from a ceremony to reception set up. He suggested that they do a turn the room. How can we pull off an elegant affair if we use the turn around room concept? Is it possible?

    Hey Lynette!

If you do not have enough time to completely change the setup of your ceremony space into your reception space, you could set up tables and chairs that your guests will sit out for both. I’ve added some photos of how beautiful this can look -

As you can see, it is totally possible to create an elegant and beautiful event while using this technique.

What does he mean by "a turn the room"?

The room is set up for the ceremony with tables for the reception away on the side.
