Hello, does anyone happen to know much about Turkish music? We would like to have some at our wedding for my fiancé’s family. Specifically, the type of music that you can do the “circle dance” to where everyone dances in a circle. However, we don’t know if there just one type of song that Turks do this for? Like Cotton Eyed Joe? Or can you do it to pretty much any song?

Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Hi Nicole!
It’s a nice idea to have some Turkish music for your FS’s family at the wedding!
As the PP mentioned, would you be able to reach out to the relatives or close Turkish friends of your FS and get their input on the music selection?
If not possible, perhaps searching on platforms like Spotify or YouTube may give you some artist, playlist or song suggestions
Will you have many Turkish guests at the wedding? How large is your FS’s family?
