Hello beauties, I'm sorry for posting twice today (I got excited about hockey this morning and totally forgot I had to pick my dress up post alterations today.....also, tomorrow is my birthday so I will forget to post this and then work will happen and fehhhhh.) ANYWAYS, I was hoping those of you with the trumpet style dresses may post some pics? Smiley smile I have kind of a curvy bod which I'm often self conscious about but this style dress makes me feel bridal-pretty and comfortable! Smiley smile I had no idea there was a difference between mermaid and trumpet until I picked my dress so I'm curious to see similar dresses on real girls. Less than one month out fehhh! (Please forgive my bright red bra and stiped underpants in this pic, I didn't think they would make me try it on today annnnd of course they did, haha!) Thanks, friends! Smiley smile

This was a fit & flare with tulle underneath so that it looked a little more like a ball gown. But you could remove the tulle to make it lay closer to your body.

I didn't end up choosing this one but it was beautiful

Hey! Congrats on choosing a dress! And thank you! 🥰 Mine was Aura by David Tutera (I believe now it goes by Martin Thornberg or something). The dress they ended up ordered was a size 20 I think, and I was about a 12/14. It fit pretty big, alterations did AMAZING though. My seamstress added extra boning and brought it in under my butt to give it shape. She also added some straps and extra tulle to the skirt. A good seamstress is your best friend. I didn’t feel great about the fit either until the alterations were done.
