My FH and I were thinking about changing the date of our wedding due to a scheduling conflict of sorts. There is a concert that we were both wanting to go to that is on the same day of our wedding. However, it starts at 6pm the same day. So I thought maybe we should change the date, I discussed it with my MOH. My FH was worried that there wouldn't be enough time because he was under the impression that WE would have to stay behind and clean up after our wedding. Once I convinced him that the cleaning up is going to be taken care of, it all worked out. So we are keeping the date and having the wedding slightly earlier. I let my MOH know the date is the same. Come to find out now there is a conflict with her, her sister is throwing her nephew's 3rd b-day party on the same day, around the same time. She can't be in 2 places at once. I hate to make her choose. If she can't be there and be my MOH then so be it but at the same time... (continued)

Okay. I know this thing should be dead... but I have something else to add.... A lot of people gave real suggestions. lot of people tried to help. I feel if you're upset enough to change a title? Add a comment to tell us what all has upset you or if those of us that tried to help had suggestions that you could use. This passive aggressive crap is just that... crap.

To be fair your 3rd-4th birthday is one of the first birthdays the child can remember/ be active and present. So it's a kinda a big deal.

I don't think this is a joke, since the ww ladies were able to figure out what band she was going to. I do think that OP is being a bit ridiculous, and she confirmed it by changing the title of this post and not saying anything. Smh.

My 4 year old niece can remember her 3rd birthday. I also said can be more active as in communicating their wants and expressing the likes and personality. But thanks for coming out FMP.

Mrsjkr...... the fact that she coudn't take the literal 20 seconds it takes to think up that alternate plan on her own just shows how damn stupid people are.

how hard was that, seriously? oh, we can't make this date? maybe they'll be playing close tomorrow! like EVERY BAND EVER DOES.

Jessica, love that meme! I can't believe these comments are up to page 8. But OP was being crazy ridiculous. How you gonna ask someone to change the date of their nephews birthday party? He's not even her kid. I'm sure only his mom can change the date and I'm sure she gives zero fucks about OP's wedding date/time or that freakish devil worshipping band.

I haven't read many comments, but keep the same date and later time. Make your honeymoon a trip to go see Slipknot at a show a day or two or week after the wedding, wherever they are playing at.
