Yes it is very hard. It's so much to it than I would have ever thought. So many fine details. But you have plenty of time so just try to relax & enjoy the process. And congratulations!

Yes, it’s so hard. I knew it would be hard, but not this hard. I think the starting point would be thinking about how big or small you want to go. Keep in mind that 90% of what makes a wedding expensive/challenging/stressful is the sheer number of guests. Smaller = less stressful, but if you want to go bigger, make sure you have a good support system in place along the way and LOTS of patience.

Remember to take breaks from wedding planning. Don’t sit there and plan everyday. You’ll get burnt out and snappy and frustrated. Set out a to do list with a timeline of when those things need to be done and only plan what you need to do that month.
This app and also The bridesmaid app helps alot. This app helps keep you organized and gives you an idea of what needs to be done when and The bridesmaid app lets you keep your bridal party organized and updated as well.

But also remember that this is your and your partners day. Don’t make it too complicated or too overdone so you don’t have to be stressed.

You got this! And I am right there with you. I'm finding that if that if I give myself no more than 1-2 wedding related items to do a day, it feels a lot less overwhelming. For example, yesterday I gave myself a few hours to get a feel for the songs that we wanted for the ceremony. It helps to involve your fiance when possible!

It is! BUT! Wedding Wire has helped SO MUCH!
If you are planning a big wedding and have the funds to do so then definitely hire a wedding planner. I had a small backyard wedding and my husband's cousin helped me plan and coordinate it all. So, main thing is to designate someone to help you! Especially choosing someone who KNOWS how weddings go. She got married beginning of 2019 so she knew what to do Smiley smile
Make sure you have a to do list or even some wedding planner/binder on hand for a checklist. There's some on Amazon you can purchase for a reasonable price. Wedding Wire has a good checklist as well!

Congrats!! You are not alone!! I’ve inadvertently been planning for 2 years (thanks COVID) and let me tell you, about 100 days out and I’m over it!! 😂😅 we are super excited, but man, it is exhausting. He is busy making money while I think about all the details. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable make sure it’s someone you want to work with. It’s been especially hard living here in Miami and I’ve learned that almost everyone is extremely rude here, and they’re not helpful either unless you’re willing to spend thousands upon thousands for singular services (I’m talking 10k for just the venue!! 😩) , and I tend to stay away if we don’t gel- which has led me to trust my self more about what I want and make sure I don’t get pressured into a sales pitch. If they sense you don’t know what you’re doing, they will try to sell you on things they think you can’t handle. So if you’re a creative like me, make sure to take note! Otherwise, it has been a blast. I chose to do a combo of fake and real flowers to arrange some before the wedding and have them ready in advance. DIyd some things, have bodies to set up others. Make sure everyone is on the same page toward the end If you plan on doing a big thing!

And most Importantly, have fun. Yes it’s stressful, but while I nail down the details, I listen to our play list and it makes me happy cry ever time. 😭🥰 welcome!

Start with the big decisions first with your partner: 1) budget, 2) estimated guest list, 3) venue. 😍
