Trouble making decisions

Megan, on March 6, 2020 at 7:55 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
Is anyone else having trouble making wedding planning decisions?

We went from wanting a small beach destination with bigger reception, to whole family local wedding with reception, now maybe eloping then big reception? We are on a low budget, I can't justify 3,000-5,000 on a beautiful venue but don't want to get a cheaper venue and have to decorate it like crazy to live up to my expectations.

I'm just venting, we went from planning for next year to looking at moving it up to sometime this year because of sick grandparents.

There are a lot of decisions that can make you change your mind but ultimately you need to go by your budget. Remember it is not the ceremony rather the reception that is the expensive part. Do you need a large reception? Could you rent a clubhouse or do it at someone's house and have a small amount of guests and do party trays from Sam's or Costco?

There’s a lot of choices I did doubt towards the end of my planning but I say go for what you think will be best and what you think you won’t regret. I wanted to stick to my budget too but for instance when I did the food tasting it was chicken and it wasn’t good but upgrading to duck which was delicious cost more. I ended up upgrading to duck because it was just too good and I’m glad I did. People complimented the food well.
