Transportation Plan

We got school busses with ac for guests staying at the hotel and the rest of us are going in family SUVs. most of us drive SUVs so we didnt look into large vehicles to move the bridal party.

Date twin! We have decided to skip the transportation, our venue is all inclusive so we have a bridal and grooms suite to get ready in, so no one would see us drive up anyways. And the ceremony and reception are at the same location. Skipping it is going to save us a ton of money, so I'm totally not opposed. Lol. We just bought a brand new 2017 Ford Focus, so we'll use that as our "getaway" car when everything is over. No shame! (And no extra $$.) Haha.

We have a hotel block. Thats 7 mins from our venue. Everyone is pretty much getting a room. They are shuttling to and from. So no one has to worry about drinking and driving! The shuttle is free. So it's perfect. They have a limo. & two big passengers vans. It works out perfectly.

Myself and the bridesmaids will take an Uber SUV to the venue. We're getting shuttles for the guests. We'll just hop in the shuttle when the night is over, not interested in a fancy getaway car.

I got a limo for my girls, my FG and mom. My FH will be getting ready his dad's house and they will drive him to the venue. I also got a bus that will go to the hotel and bring guest to the venue. At the end of the night FH and I will take the bus with everyone.

We had a 24 passenger shuttle bus that transported everyone from the hotel to the venue and back again. The bridal party and immediate family family took the first shuttle over for pictures. There were 2 more trips for guests that started at about 5:15 for a 6:30 ceremony. The hotel was only a 15 minute drive away from the venue.

We have a trolley that will be transporting FH and his groomsmen to the venue and then returning to the hotels to shuttle guests. There's a bridal suite at the venue, so I will already be there with my bridal party and mom.

We have a trolley for the BP to take us from the hotel to the ceremony and then to the reception. We have been debating getting a coach bus to take guests from the hotels to the ceremony and back. Luckily the hotels are close enough to the reception that there will be shuttles provided.

I'm also interested in how you and your FH are going to get from the reception to wherever you are going- So far I have a great plan figured out but he & I are stranded at the reception haha! I don't really want to hire a car service to come get us, but I'm not sure how my dress will fit in one of our cars haha. Help!

We aren't doing anything special. we are getting ready and doing photos at the hotel where we are staying/the reception will be held, so i figured people can just take their own cars to the church.

We pretty much had everyone car pool with each other. Since we did a first look it allowed us to go from location to location together with his brother and sister so we got more time together.

We had a few bridesmaids and groomsmen drive the wedding party to the venue, and had big shuttle buses for all of our guests. DH and I jumped on the bus to go to bars at the end of the reception and called a cab to get home!

We're walking everywhere, weather permitting.

We are also renting a trolley! It will pick up my FH and his groomsmen from the hotel and take them to the church (my bridesmaids and I need to get to the church earlier for photos, so I'm not sure how we will all get there yet) then the trolley will take all of us from the church to the reception. Our reception venue and our wedding night hotel are both on a lake (the same lake, hah) so we are getting in a gondola for our send-off and going straight to our hotel!
