I have a best friend who is transgender and definitely want her as one of my bridesmaids. My mom is telling me not to do it because it will become the topic of my wedding. To be honest, she is a beautiful woman that presents better than all my other bridesmaids combined. No one would ever know except that we have been friends for years and spend a lot of time together.. Any thoughts??

Tell your mom it's none of her business. Your friend is your friend, regardless of what she has in her pants. If you want her as a bridesmaid, I'm sure she'll slay.
