Toss Bouquet

Eden, on May 3, 2010 at 9:48 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

So I was thinking of having a custom toss bouquet with silk flowers created by a lady on Etsy to look similar to my fresh flower bouquet. Roses, calla lilies, and some crystals. She quoted me a price of $125-$145. I was wondering what some of you paid for your toss bouquets (assuming you're doing that), and if you think that sounds like a decent price? Also, if you have any Etsy recommendations, feel free to mention them. I LOVE Etsy, I seem to be purchasing everything for my wedding from there!!

Oh, I meant to add....if anyone knows any really good jewelry makers on Etsy, please tell me! I'm looking for something with mainly just crystals.

    Thanks!

Through my florist, the toss bouquet is "free." It will be a smaller version of my bouquet with two types of roses, calla lillies and gerbers. My bouquet will be about $125. The bridesmaids will be $50 each. I guess I wouldn't pay more than that for a toss bouquet...

$125 is too expensive for a toss bouquet; this should be a minimal cost to you. I am not sure of your budget, however I would stay in the $30 or less range.

NO WAY! thats way too much!!! They should be free, most of the time they are. Mine was $19.99 because I had a small order. I just ordered my flowers today from http://www.debbiecoflowers.com

The flowers are beautiful on the website and reasonably priced. Pictures are my bouquet and my MOH's bouquet. My bouquet was only $52.99 and hers was $39.99

Ok, scratch that. She was thinking a big bouquet...she said $50 for the toss...but that still seems too much considering what you've all said. Thanks for letting me know, everyone!

You could just toss a BM bouquet and not pay anything extra.

For a reference, this will be my bouquet with fresh flowers and some deep purple flowers added... I'm looking for silk flowers that look like this and only a tad smaller. $50 isn't worth that you don't think?
