Torn Between Two Wedding Dresses!

I'm a very picky & indecisive bride-to-be. Tried many different dress from three different boutiques. I never found "the one". But thankfully after my visit to the last boutique, I narrowed down to two! But I'm torn..!

(I doubt anybody I know will see this post so I'm going to expose myself in my possible choices..!)

Would love a detailed feedback and why you would choose one dress over the other!

My wedding will be a wildflower garden like theme in September. Something like this (not my venue) but with a lake backdrop next to a farm with mix matched farm chairs (but avoiding the country vibe..)

my venue

cfb_1464179.jpg

with these flower color palettes (maybe)

So the dresses..

Option A.

front (I will be altering the front as such):

cfb_1464163.jpg

lace details of the top (closing the slit up to the middle lace bridge because from afar it looks like bra strap!):

cfb_1464165.jpg

back (the dress "glides" when I walk with the train, very dainty and ethereal):

cfb_1464167.jpg

NOTES: I absolutely love the details of the top but hesitant because the skirt looks "boring" (though simple but sweet is very very me, don't know if this is what I want for my WEDDING). If I go with this, I will be adding a sparkle tulle underneath (only noticeable in person) and perhaps a small petticoat to keep shape. Someone said this wouldn't look good in photos...

-----

Option B.

front (switching the bra padding to nude, see below):

cfb_1464185.jpg

lace details of the top:

cfb_1464187.jpg

back (the dress has a more whimsical feel with the train):

cfb_1464189.jpg

bustled:

cfb_1464191.jpg

NOTES: I love the playful ruffles making me feel like a princess (definitely has a wow factor and once in a lifetime chance (LOL) to wear something like this) but hesitant because the top looks like lingerie... So if I were to take close up photos or selfies, it'd look awkward.. or is it just me? Someone (same someone) also said this dress looks a little tacky and cheap..

-----

So I like the top of A but bottom of B... If only I can mix and match..

-----

BONUS!

front (change color to ivory and alter neck line to a V):

back:

NOTES: loved how sparkly it was. but most likely will choose between Option A & Option B.

The bonus dress! Love the details on the top and with the v it gives it more shape! I also love that it has lace details spread out on the bottom half of the dress, which blends in nicely and completes the dress very well. The lace detail in the back also makes for a pretty train.

I love #2! When I think of outdoor weddings with a garden theme, that dress is what I picture. It's beautiful, unique and looks amazing on you!

I will be the odd one out and say your venue has nothing to do with your dress style. What you should focus on is which dress do you absolutely not want to take off? That is the dress to pick.

I like the bonus dress with the sweetheart neckline but in its original color. Is that a blush shade?

I personally like dress two on you. The “playfulness” of the ruffles fights in nicely with elements of the venue. The first dress is also beautiful but chose which ever make you feel the best!

I love the ruffles and tiered layers in the skirt of dress #2!! Like you said - it gives the dress such a soft and romantic feel! 🥰 I like the suggestions of adding a thicker strap with some sparkle and maybe even adding some bling with a belt. ✨ And I'd try to see how it would look with a white lining in the bodice as well - maybe that would change the feel for you!

But man - that bonus dress is also gorgeous!! 😍 I love the subtle sparkle and how the lace pattern spreads out as the dress bodice flows into the skirt!

It was closer to a light mauve shade!

Thank you! Yes, the playfulness seemed more in tune with me (still) deciding to wear sneakers with ribbons (whereas with Amara it might of been clashing)!

Thank you everyone for helping me in my decision process!

I decided to order option B!

Lynnie, I actually ordered my dress with the white cup and extra fabric to line just front and have it sheer in the back! We'll see how it turns out after my seamstress works her magic. Still considering whether to leave the straps (because now that it's not nude, it may not be a problem) or add more lace or thicker strap. The bonus dress was super sparkly! I think the color threw me off at the fitting which is why I didn't consider much (seemed more like a prom dress) but after editing, it caught my attention again (-: it's very glam!

Yayy!! That's so exciting Rachel!! ❤️

That dress is SO gorgeous, and you've got some options on lining and the straps. ✨ I think it's going to be perfect!

I agree, it doesn’t look like lingerie at all. However, if that’s your concern then see if you can get it less transparent or maybe add boning to have more of a structured look. I love dress 2 & as long as you feel like a princess is all that matters! Wishing you best for your big day Xx

There are so any out there I like better than these.
A top like 1, also sewn to a pt, and not like my nightgown, 2.
And a skirt with beautiful details, a little less fluffy."Style: 9806 | Allure Bridals" https://allurebridals.com/style/9806, Probably many other dresses
