OBVIOUSLY marrying your significant other is the #1! BUT as far as your wedding top 3s, what are/were they? What were the most important items in your wedding? For me, this is the top list: 1. Venue 2. Flowers 3. Photography What were yours? DJ? Dress? Decor?

    3. Date

I'd say venue but if it didn't met those reqs it wouldn't matter.

    For us is was:

    1. Venue/food ( most venues in our area also do the catering on site)
    2. Photography
    3. Ceremony
    4. DJ because it's so close and right up there.

Everything else we just went with the flow on!

    1. Location/venue

    2. Food

    3. Photography

I specify Location over just "venue" because while having a beautiful venue was important to us, the most important thing was the location of the venue since my grandfather wouldn't travel more than like 30 minutes really... he's 86, and kept saying "oh have it wherever you want it's fine, I don't have to come" but he's one of the most important people in my life so I was of course not having it without him lol. My "dream venue" was the beach, but as we live a little over an hour from the beach, I chose my grandfather's presence over my dream venue without a second thought. So, venue was important but only within our location range.

    For my Husband:

Getting married outdoors, Zero religion in the ceremony, no dance

    For me:

Food & Drink, photography, reception place needed to be beautiful as is as I was NOT into decorating it! And it was!

She was adamant that I get a wedding I wanted since all of the choice was taken from me the first time. But I have loved planning this with her and can't wait for the big day.

    1. Our sons standing by our sides

    2. The atmosphere- We're renting a big beach house with a long backyard leading onto the water. We have planned every detail of the way it will be set-up, the tables and chairs, the music, the food, everything, but I want people to feel relaxed and like they're simply at a great cocktail party with the brides.

    3. Our outfits (The dress was my number one concern because of my size, but I finally get to feel like a bride and she doesn't have to wear a dress!)

    I'd have to say

#1 Venue (had to have the right setting for an outdoor reception)

#2 Music (really sets the feeling and vibe you want IMO)

#3 Photography (having those memories to look back on are a huge priority!)

1.The most important for me was the venue. We will be spending almost all of our time in the venue. We wanted to make sure we had a place that was conformable and wouldn't mind being all day.

    2. Photography- wanted great pictures to look back on

    3. DJ- we are a music loving couple so we wanted someone that understood that. Our DJ is awesome.
