Tooth whitening?

Ms. Koala, on February 18, 2016 at 10:10 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 32

My FH and I are looking into tooth whitening options. Are there any suggestions for products that we can buy outside of a dentist's office? Preferably in the budget of $50 per kit.

Edit:spelling

I think Crest White Strips are in that price range and they work pretty well.

Crest White strips will fit your budget! And their advanced white toothpaste works better than Colgate Optic White, in my experience

If you have whitening trays already, you can order Venus whitening gel off of eBay for cheap. I got 4 syringes for $20.

How close to the wedding should we do those though? My FH has a bad habit of chewing tobacco which stains his teeth really badly, and I know he won't just stop to keep teeth white. I hate this habit of his, but we are working around it.

I like the Rembrandt 2-hour kit. I'd do it every couple days starting like two weeks before.

Tobacco stains are going to take professional whitening to get out though...

@ringaroundtheroushes, well, maybe his dentist is having a deal we can take advantage of. At least the worst I have is from coffee.

Crest whitestrips will work in your budget. I personally like the Crest Whitestripe Luxe strips but those ones are usually more than $50 each. I see a difference with my teeth after about 2 days with those strips but for the full effect I use them for 14 days.

Crest Whitestrips work pretty well for an affordable option. Just be careful when you put them on your teeth, not to get the gel on your gums. They will also bleach your gums and leave white spots. My dentist says that it isn't harmful and it is temporary; they just recommend being careful with the application.

You mean TEETH whitening. 212 dental has a deal going on. Free teeth whitening after a visit from them.

I feel like whitening one single tooth would be weird. But I mean. If you want.

Personally I find regular dental cleaning is the best way to keep up on that. Followed with occasional use of whitening tooth paste.

Also why isn't it teeth paste. It's tooth paste? What gives English. What gives.

@JoRocka- English is so confusing. I very well may have misspoken. English is not my first language.

Crest pro strips work really well, but they make my teeth SUPER sensitive! If your dentist does whitening, it''s worth the cost- It lasts longer and it doesn't make my teeth sensitive at all

No one ever believes me, but my teeth got so white from brushing with baking soda. I still use toothpaste too. I do like round 1 brushing with baking soda, and round 2 with toothpaste.
