No! Start planning. Alot of vendors are already booking or booked for 2023

We got engaged 12/19/21 and the wedding is 9/23/23 and I am definitely planning already! In my area a lot of vendors are already booked up for 2022 and are booking for 2023 (one was even booking through 2024!). Our first choice venue was booked solid for 2023 which let us know we needed to start planning and booking sooner than originally thought. Covid basically made 2022 a catch up year for a lot of couple so 2023 weddings should start looking now!

Never too early. Depending on your location, a lot of vendors are 1/2-3/4 booked for the year already

Totally agree with everyone! It’s never too early to start planning! I used The Knot to keep me on track but love WW for these forums.

Nope it's not too soon. Start with budget. Read around the forums for good advice.

We got engaged July 2019 and planned for July 2021... it got moved to this summer so I stopped for 1 year, but 2 years was a perfect planning length for someone who wants to plan when they're feeling it and have more time, and then leave it be when you're too busy. 😊

Of course not! We are getting married July 23,2023 and already have save the dates, invitations made… rough draft of guest list and seating chart, venue, photographer and videographer booked, bouquets, boutonnières picked out and ready to order. & a dj booked. The sooner you get little big tasks out the way and paid for or half paid for the better it is next year.

Definitely not! I’d start now. I got engaged 12/12/20 and have been planning since 😂 it did take a few months to pick a venue we liked

We’re not even officially engaged and we are already planning out the next year! It helps with financial planning.

Congrats! There might be a vendor or two that wont let you book until a year out (hotel and transportation for me) but other than that we are July 15th 2023 and booking as soon as possible to get it out of the way and secure vendors we like and fit our budget.

No it’s just give you time to plan everything and get everything out of the way and congratulations I got engaged myself on valentines of 2021 and we are getting married July 27, 2023

Absolutely start planning now! We got engaged 12/13/21 and I started planning immediately. We were only 20 minutes away from losing our venue to somebody else. Our date is 7/15/23. The GOOD places are booking up for 2023 fast already

Mines July 15 2023 got engaged December 25 2021

Hi! We got engaged the same day! We are also looking at July 2023 wedding too. We looked out venues and are deciding on one this week. I think it depends on your area and if you see flexible with locations and dates. Happy planning!
