OK girlies...

My best friend just bought her dress yesterday, just this one here: http://tinyurl.com/67vx2cn ! but... online she loved it and it was the third time she tried it on when at a store shop .. cuz she said she want to make sure it was the one of course...

Her only hesitations now were that it may be too plain.. but i was thinking less is more thing etc

anyways, her sis and mum saying that its really plain, and now she was worried what everyone will be thinking at the wedding,

how can i help her spice the dress up a bit?? She dont like much bling (plus its a garden wedding) but LOVE lace and pearls...

HELP us!! Thx in advance.

FOUND IT!!!!! Roni!!!!! Hi girl... aren't you a pretty dress.

Ok, Now that I have the DESIGNER's style, I can now look at resale sites and find this dress for a reasonable price. There is no reason to be tricked by fake accounts to by a cheep knock off.

Hayley maybe you should be using smaller words, or maybe talk in a different language, maybe she'd understand you then?IDk though...some people just don't understand what people say...maybe use geek speak?

I wasn't tricked by her, I have this place that is in china(yes in china) and I have looked through ALL their dresses and none of them look familiar, and found the dress I want and it's only like 300 dollars, I'm either going to order from the site I found, or from ebay...either way I'll be able to save a bit of money, not to mention I don't even KNOW what dress size I wear...I've been gaining so much weight lately it's not even funny...I need to get in and get my thyroid screening done(been dreading it for a few months now) and get the meds to fix it so I'll (hopefully) start to lose some weight...

*that was more of a general statement to all brides out there. I understand that some can't afford their dream dress, but I am trying to make a point that there are better ways to buy your dress. Not everyone has learned how to avoid fake accounts yet.

@ Briana - I really do wish you the best of everything, you know what you are getting into, it is the other girls that don't do their research and blindly follow a lead that I want to help. Good luck with your thyroid screening. ~happy planning~

Yea I looked at who knows how many sites before I just literally stumbled upon the one I found that I liked...and I agree that some just blindly go and see something online and go "oh I like that" and order it not knowing it's going to be a cheap knock-off and get upset when it's not anywhere near what they expected it to be...even with the expensive name brand dresses are like that at times, no matter where you order from it's going to be a complete chance that it comes out wrong or right...

What the points that are better ways to buy the awesome dress? Expensive? or buy from the creditable store?

For example... this dress can be found on ebay for less than $200

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Maggie-Sottero-RONI-J1226-Iv-Size-6-NEW-LOOK-/150600045932

yes it is a stock sample, and has been tried on, but I'm sure the store cleaned and repaired any beadwork. OR you can go to a bridal shop and ask who they get their dresses cleaned by. It would cost about the same as the knock off to get this dress and clean it (if needed) than buy a CHEAPLY MADE knock off.

See I don't know why but I don't like THAT dress, I think it's how the beading on the front goes under the bust(which I wouldn't be able to see if I were to wear it) and makes it look like it's supposed to be a bra...

What sites are there for previously worn wedding gowns? maybe I can figure out what size I am and see if I can order a dress pre-owned, I have no other real choice but to order online though...being the dress I want is from alfred angelo and the closest shop that sells his stuff is in Anchorage...

Again... Just trying to show that there is NO Reason to Buy a knock off dress.

*** Note to all Brides *** You CAN find a designer dress in your budget.

With a little digging, I'm sure I can find ANY dress that Arlene R , Allison R and Nicole W can post up.

Again, do your research. Be sure to get LOTS of pictures, answers, receipts (if applicable), DESIGNER tag pictures, etc. Protect yourself. Read the return policy. Especially if you are told it is a designer dress and if you receive it and it is not.
