Hello Ladies, So I had my first makeup trial this weekend...One of my bridesmaids told me that it was way too much make up. The makeup artist did tell me that people would probably say that, but that my pictures would look great. I want to make sure I look great, but not look like I over did it!...

Hello Ladies,

So I had my first makeup trial this weekend...One of my bridesmaids told me that it was way too much make up. The makeup artist did tell me that people would probably say that, but that my pictures would look great.

I want to make sure I look great, but not look like I over did it!

Opinions please??!!

I dont thinks it too bad...maybe u just need a bit more natural tones like in ur pictures so u wont look so overdone, but makeup still looks amazing!!

Against a pure white dress, I think you need to have that extra layer (at least I do). I think your makeup looks beautiful, maybe changing the eyeshadow to a lighter color could lighten up the look a bit?

Can I be honest with you? I was looking at your pictures, and I think your make up in the picture where you were wearing the orange dress. I think that looks pretty and really natural. I think something like that for your wedding day would be absolutely beautiful! =)

The only thing that I see why she may have said that is that the blush wasn't blended that well (IMO) or the shade of blush used wasn't the right one. Other than that I think its fine and won't look overdone or look like you have on alot of make up

Forgot to mention it before, but I literally had the same issue with my makeup/makeup artist. The first trial we did looked great and very glamorous-I had severnal girlfriends say they like it. But, then I saw my fh and he didnt like-or at least not for the wedding. he felt it looked hot, but hot like I was going to a night club instead of getting married Smiley smile boys....Smiley winkingAnyways, so I explained it to my makeup artist, we went and did another trial and came up with a way to do a very similar glamorous look that was just toned down a bit. And mainly for me (and I have dark hair and eyes like you do) it was the eye liner on the bottom of my lids that changed everything. Seriously, we made the eye shadow a little lighter than before, but I was amazed at what a difference just not having eye liner on the bottom of my lid did. not saying thats it for you-but there could easily just be one small detail that if it were less or lighter could change the whole look!
