I was VERY close to doing this but my SO caught my mistake haha. I’m not sure what to do with them, any crafts you could do that need magnets? Start looking at Pinterest?

Oops! You could paste some pictures over top of them later on and make cute wedding photo magnets

I did the same thing. I placed two on my fridge and one on the hard drive at my job. Now there's like 35-40 left and I have no idea what to do with them. My mom wants me to send some out to family distance family members, but I don't plan on inviting them to the wedding.

You're lucky yours are magnets. Mine were just paper and we had like at least 25 left over. I felt so bad throwing them in the trash, along with our extra invitations, after the wedding 😭

Well don't feel so bad as I've seen that a lot on this site in the last year.... Though I can't think of a good use for a lot of extra magnets :-)

This is what FH did with our extra magnets. Not a permanent solution, but he was pretty proud of himself.

I was super close to making this mistake until my mom explain why I didnt need to buy 175 invitations for 175 guests. And I'm super grateful. $200 in my pocket. I hope you find a useful way to use your magnets.

My MOH bought me a wedding planner book that I am keeping 1 of everything in as a memory. Engagement party invite, favors, etc. I also gave my immediate family 1 as a keepsake as well. Maybe also frame them?

We did this with invites. Legit ordered a 2nd box when we thought about how many extra people we had thought of after we ordered the first box. Then they arrived and it dawned on me that most of the extra people all live in the same house oooopppsss. Granted it's a house where there are several different families all living to help take care of each other but you'd think after 10 years of them sharing a house it would have dawned on me they didn't each need an invite. I didn't even open the 2nd box.

You can never have too many magnets!! Just use some modge podge or something to put another picture on top and use it on your fridge/dry erase board/chalk board

I just counted and legit have about 45 extra 😂 I plastered my basement fridge with them. I decided I will make one into a Christmas ornament by modpodging two together, and the rest figure out lol

View Quoted Comment Yes if you do that I would be agreed it would confuse them whe. They did not get a invite. If you did not want to keep them you could turn them into color matching games for local preschool. Like color 2 red 2 blue or do shapes but I have no clue you to reuse them with pics.

I don’t know what you do for work, but as someone who’s about to be a teacher I’m thinking of how useful they could be. Painted, glued over, cut into shapes, used to make compound words, I could keep going.
If you have any teacher friends see if they can use them or donate them to a school/church/art program?
