Have your oldest on each side stand for you. Or no one at all.

It just gets too confusing and chaotic with too many people. Not to mention expensive.

All our brothers did readings during the ceremony. They were also ushers and escorted moms/grandma during the processional.

Well, is there somewhere else you can utilize their talents? Four instance, one of my four brothers has a voice like velvet. He will be singing, at his request and my wholehearted approval. Another one of my brothers isn't super involved in my life, but he is my brother, so he will be an usher. One of my brothers is unpredictable and unreliable, and he will be a guest LOL

If I had them as ushers can I use the multiple times because I was thinking of having my dad and my step dad to walk me down the aisle I would need someone to walk my step mom and my mama to their seats if I use the two of them to walk them and then our grandmothers but would that also work??

I have a lot of siblings myself. My little sister is a bridemaid. I asked my older sister whether she would rather be a BM or do a reading with her wife(I didn't think she would want to wear a pink BM dress but wanted her to have the choice either way) and she chose to read with her wifey. FH is close with my older bro so asked him to stand up as a GM. I asked my 2 stepbrothers to be ushers. Viola, all siblings in the wedding. They don't all have to be GM, you can ask them to be ushers and it doesn't matter who they walk down in your family, their job is to help all guests find their seats etc...

Shelby, walking the mothers is what they do.

The ushers escort the wedding guests in general to their seats.

You can have them walk your mothers and grandmothers in if you want. I went to a wedding where they did that. They walk your grandmothers in they zip back up the side ailses and walk in the moms.
