Too late for Save the Dates?

Hi all... so I wasn't planning on doing Save the Dates. My wedding is on 9/15 and I figured I would just send out invites in early June, which is plenty of time. I've already texted/called the people who have to travel long distances and let them know so they can book plane tickets, etc. BUT... now...

Hi all... so I wasn't planning on doing Save the Dates. My wedding is on 9/15 and I figured I would just send out invites in early June, which is plenty of time. I've already texted/called the people who have to travel long distances and let them know so they can book plane tickets, etc. BUT... now I keep getting questions from people including family members about hotel info, etc. We already have a block of rooms reserved, which I have mentioned on my website. I'm doing online-only RSVP. But obviously no one will actually see this website until they get the invitation.

Is this anything to be concerned about? Because as the questions come in, I'm kind of regretting not sending Save the Dates with at least the hotel & other accommodations info. (A lot of people want to camp out on our property instead of getting hotel rooms) But now we're 5 months out and I also sort of feel like dang... just wait two months and you'll have all the information you need. Smiley xd

Just send out your invites a little earlier than you planned. As for people asking to campout on your property, just tell them that if you let one person campout you'd have to let everyone. Just say no

Oh I don't care if everyone wants to camp - I didn't mean to imply that I did. Not everyone will though, for sure. I'm kind of a "the more the merrier" kind of girl, so if people want to camp at our place for free that's fine by me. Obviously it would be great to know ahead of time (especially if they want to bring dogs which... eh...normally would be fine but in this situation I might have to say no). But we have 20 acres and we've been working really hard to fix up our property and our barn, and I plan to have it all strung up with lights and pretty so it will be nice to enjoy it with folks. Plus we're doing the welcome party there as well as the after-party so for our camp-friendly circle it will be easier all around.
