My wife had a fit and flare and did not get the slip to put under it, but her dress was all tulle under it, so I guess that makes a difference haha

I tried my dress on with and without the slip and I liked it better without one. But I have tulle to provide the fluff

I don't think my dress needs one. It's got plenty of floof.

I didn't. I even had all the crinoline taken out so it wouldn't poof anymore than it had too

I would try it on with your dress before you buy it. Mine looks awful! This is without it

This is with the slip. It just looks awkward with my dress lol. So def try it on before you purchase it!

I don't plan to. I may end up altering so its tighter just before the flare starts so its exaggerated but not super poofy.

I did get the slip because it was very obvious when I didn't have it on, my dress has a softer material at the bottom and it goes right between my legs. The slip is intense though and kinda itchy so I wish I didn't need to wear it.

I didn't get the slip...looked weird with it under the dress. This is without the slip...I liked it better this way.

I am not. But my skirt is all poof and Ruffles.

I wore one under my dress. It looked sad without it lol.

I'm adding everything I can underneath. A slip, crinoline, extra tulle. The bigger the better in my opinion. It makes the shape more dramatic which I feel is kinda the whole point of dresses with this shape.

Yes I have a slip under mine but mines not quite as dramatic of a fit and flare and my mom went dress shopping with me and just wanted to see me in a ball gown so bad. So we compromised.

This is mine without but I was considering asking them to add tulle underneath in the bottom for more volume at my first fitting (forever from now lol ) Didn't think of doing the slip but maybe they'd work !!

If you don't mind me asking what crinoline did you get? Where did you get it? I am just like you wanting lots of poof at the bottom and haven't been able to find a good one yet.

I ended up having one. I had an a line dress but it didn't look right without one.

I added one with the hoop and I loveee it
