To grow it out, no?

So I have about 2 years until my wedding. Right now I'm rocking an asymmetrical pixie cut which I LOVE. But pinterest has been the devil for me and I keep seeing pictures of beautiful updos, and of course everyones gorgeous trials and BAMS. Its got me wondering whether or not I should grow it out. I know in the end its my decision, but I would like to hear what others have done! Maybe any short haired brides so off their wedding hair styles? Im attaching a pic of what my hair looks like short and long in the comments as well. Thanks!

I say grow it out. You can always decide you liked it better short and chop it off again. Growing it out gives you maximum options.

My hair falls a little past my shoulders, close to the midway point between my should blades. I started growing it out about a year and a half ago from a pixie cut. I usually always keep my hair cut just above my shoulders, though. Anytime it goes past, it annoys me so here I am with annoying hair. Haha. I will probably do a post wedding chop like a lot of brides do. However, I have seen some beautiful, short haired brides on here. If I were going to crop my hair pixie short, I'd probably use a thin, jeweled headband to make my hair more bridal and go bold on my make up. So, if you're worried about not looking bridal enough, you don't need to be!

I have decently long hair (it's also naturally curly.. Very curly) but I still want to grow it out some more so I have more options on what I'm able to do with it.

Growing it out would give you maximum options like @stpaulgal said. If you want s pixie closer to the day you can just have it cut off again but if you decide late you want long the only option would be extensions or a wig. Now with saying that if you love the short cut and you feel like it's part of your personality then stick with it. It would suck if you looked back at your photos and didn't recognize the awesome things that make you, you.

I had a bob cut and grew it out for the wedding, so I could have an updo. I plan to cut it off again at my next hair appointment.

Do whatever makes you feel good! I have a short pixie and will be keeping it for the wedding, since I never feel like myself with long hair.

I've had short hair for years. Would it be fun to have a fancy updo for a minute? Sure. The not so fun part is the upkeep of growing out hair you only really want for one day. I'm sticking with my pixie cut and getting a headband. You do you!

Well, of course you can always grow it out now, have a hair trial a few months out from your wedding, and if you don't fall in love with an updo just get your pixie again! As far as inspo for wedding pixie styles here are a few that I think are amazing

My hair is currently at my shoulders and I'm growing it out for the wedding. The hairstyle I had in mind and would like to rock requires longer hair. Luckily my hair grows fast but holy crap it is SUPER thick, curly/wavy, and frizzy. Hopefully I survive another year and 3 months of this. After the wedding I am going back to a pixie cut
