I would say March is a better time to send them. It's more time-appropriate. It might be strange getting an invite in February when the wedding isn't for another 4 months lol

Well, my wedding is April 27 and we just sent ours out Saturday. So IMO too early.

I would wait until March. Two months is the usual time to mail out your invitations. If you sent out STDs then you’re definitely fine to wait until March.

My wedding is the weekend after yours. We have also had ours since late last year but plan to send them early to mid march. Our RSVP date is May 10th. We have been dying to get them in the mail but don't want to send to early. I feel like giving guests a solid 4 weeks to respond and that leave us with a week or 2 to track down those who have not so we still reach our deadline.

I sent mine out early due to Easter being the weekend after our wedding. Most people send out about 8 to 10 weeks before. Just leave yourself enough time for late responses and time for phone calls for those who forget to rsvp

Personally I would wait until April 15th. Two months is plenty of time!

Invitations are supposed to go out 6-8 weeks before your wedding. April would be the right time to mail yours.

Invitations should go out about 6-8 weeks before your head count due date with your venue. If your numbers are due on June 1, put your RSVP date about a week before that. And I wouldn't send your invites any earlier then mid March although you only really need to send them by April 1. Sorry, I know how anxious I am to finally sending my STD's, my photographer has to send me the final proof and I'm itching to get them out!

My wedding is a month before yours and we are sending ours the last week of February. I would wait 1 month, but if you didn’t send save the dates, maybe wait 2.5 weeks. It definitely seems too early for a June wedding.

Mine is July 28. We're going to send out the invitations the end of May and have an RSVP deadline of June 25. That way, we can have about two weeks for any stragglers to come in before we have to give any final numbers to the vendors and venue.

If you send out the invitations to far in advance you risk people losing them and forgetting to RSVP. I would stick with the 8 - 10 weeks in advance and ask for the RSVP by about a month before.

Same here. my numbers for the venue are due mid may, and I know I will be having to hunt some down.... I also know some of my guest procrastinate so if I gave them two-three months they will loose or forget.

A good portion of the people I want to invite (both family and friends) live halfway across the country, so I sent those invites out this weekend. I didn't send save the dates though. Wedding is July 21. I have invites for locals ready to go, but I haven't send them yet.

I agree with your stepmom that you should wait until March. My wedding is June 23 and I am sending mines out by the end of March according to the personalized timeline from my planner

Our wedding is June 24, the weekend after yours. We are sending them out the second week of April with a RSVP date of May 12. I would wait until at least late March or the first week of April to send yours. Now seems a bit too early. But I completely understand the excitement to get them in the mail and get the ball rolling! It should still be plenty of time to get all the stuff done that depends on final numbers. I’m chomping at the bit to get ours in the mail!
