To boutonniere or to not boutonnière

So I got the list of options for my flowers and FH's boutonnière. I can't decide either but the boutonnière is what it's stressing me the most. Everything seem so big and I can't picture him wearing it. Are you guys having it ? Is it part of classic look? I know is a matter of taste but I want some...

I decided to have them because I had leftover materials and made them myself vs paying the florist. I think they are pretty but FH did not care. I know the guys will eventually take their jackets off so it will at least be for a few pictures. I would not stress this and leave it last on your list especially with a 1+ away.

We aren't doing them for $$ reasons and also my FH refused to wear "girl things" (his words not mine) didn't feel like it was worth the battle

We aren't doing them, just a pocket square. I feel like they always get squished or someone's will be pinned wrong so its not worth the hassle for me.

I am not having them, I don't really see the point. I am only doing bouquets because I think it looks weird to not be holding anything.

Are those who are going without doing one for your dad?

If FH goes without, his dad would go without as his dad is a GM.

So, it'd just be my dad as something to stand out to walk me down the aisle? Or none at all?

I am doing them just a single calla lily. They are really only for the ceremony since most guys take the jackets off at the reception anyway. If you are having trouble finding something you like just skip it

Our whole wedding party is guys and so every one of them will be wearing one. We have full tux on and it's supposed to be a semi formal wedding so it fits the theme

We're doing them. They're pretty inexpensive. I want to say I'm paying $11 per bout. FH's will be different than the rest.

My two cents - a carnation through the lapel buttonhole is a classic but simple option.

None for us. We decided the guys will just do pocket squares.

FH adamantly refused to wear one. At first I just couldn't handle it but then I realized that it really doesn't matter, so none of the GM or the groom will have one. I got some for the dad's because the moms will have corsages.
