Tipping vendors.

April, on June 3, 2021 at 12:12 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 2 4
Hello! My wedding is in less than 10 days. I'm looking at my vendors and how to tip. I put how much I paid for the service

For example:
DJ- 925$OFFICIANT 350$BARTENDER (only 1 person) 350$PHOTOGRAPHER (only 1 photographer) 1000$VIDEOGRAPHER (2 videographers) 636$
Would 100$ tip each be appropriate for each? Or what did you do. Thanks !

20% tip is standard .... more if they went above and beyond.

My venue charges tax and gratuity and we were told not to tip servers and bartenders on top of it. Our DJ and photo booth will get 20%. As far as the photographer, I won’t tip her until I receive my proofs. I will have no way of knowing if she did a great job or not until then.
