Timeline

Samantha, on June 20, 2021 at 10:27 PM Posted in Planning 2 6
I have made a timeline for the day of and just need other people to take a look and let me know their thoughts. The whole venue will be set up the day before if that matters. The ceremony and reception are in the same place. If you can take a look and let me know if something looks super off, gave to much time, not enough time, etc. thank you!!Timeline 1

Timeline looks great! I love the first look with the dogs - so sweet!!

Two suggestions: if you are giving this to vendors or anybody other than yourself, I would only highlight the absolute most important things (start of ceremony, etc.) or use some lighter colors. Dark highlights are hard to read. I would also use first names for everyone, including yourself - so that way there is no question who is supposed to be where. I work as a business manager for a wedding photographer and these are the suggestions I’d give any bride that we work with. Congratulations and best of luck!!!

Thank you!! Honestly I highlighted it like that for now so my fiancé would understand blue is him, pink is me, and yellow is us haha. But good thinking for the vendors and names!

Your timeline is great ... however:
1 You are doing the cake cutting right after your grand entrance?

2 You only alloted 35 mins for family and group photos at the venue, I think it's a very thight timeframe. It would be a good idea to discuss timeframes for photoshoots with your photographers and ask them if this is enough.

I think it looks good, but I’d double check with your caterer that an hour is enough time for dinner. I’m not sure what you’re serving/how many courses, but most weddings I’ve been to it’s usually 1.5-2 hours.

Yep we are cutting our cake as soon as we walk in. We have a small cake that will be on our head table just for us. So when we walk in we will cut it and then as the guests go through the buffet line they can grab their cupcake.
Good idea to ask the photographer! If it goes over the 35 minutes it’s not a huge deal because we are giving us 45 minutes to “freshen up” after.

It’s going to be Buffet style so that’s why I was thinking an hour was enough. I guess I need to check with the caterer! Thank you
