Timeline Help!!!

Baylee, on June 1, 2020 at 6:44 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

My wedding is just 26 short days away and I still don't have my timeline figured out! I can't find a site I like to use, and I just have no idea how to space things out! Anyone else having a 4:00 p.m. Saturday ceremony who has a template/advice/anything?? TIA!!!

We're a 5pm ceremony on a Saturday with 23 people in our wedding party (yikes lol). I was told the best thing you can do is add in 15 min windows in between different timings for wiggle room. Here's what ours looks like so far:

7am girls start hair/makeup/breakfast at my parents house (7 bridesmaids, myself, 2 moms, 3 flower girls so that's why the early start) Flower girls won't arrive till later on in the morning. We have 2 girls doing hair and another 2 for makeup.

11am finish up hair/makeup, collect all personal items and be ready to hop into limo

11:30 limo arrives, girls head to venue

12pm arrive at venue, get settled into bridal suite and change into dresses. Then the limo goes back for the guys to pick them up.

1pm guys arrive and get dressed

1:45pm first look with my dad

2pm first look with FH, then wedding party pictures till 4:30 (at the latest)

    5pm start time for ceremony

    5:30-7pm cocktail hour

    7-11 reception

    11 - 1am after party at hotel

This was my wedding timeline. I had a 4:05pm wedding on a Saturday.

    6:30am – Wake up

    7:00am – Breakfast w/ bridesmaids, grandma &
    Mama B.

8:30am – Do any last minute running around / Make
sure Mike made it to his tee-time

11:30am – Start getting ready with Bridesmaids
    (Photographer arrives)

    12:00pm - Postmate Lunch

2:15pm – Leave hotel for wedding venue

2:50 pm - Bridal Party Photos & First Look

    3:45pm – Guests arrive

    4:05pm – Ceremony Starts

    4:20pm – Photos with Family Members &
Reception Hall Opens for Guests (Bar opens when guests are finding seats in
    ballroom)

4:45pm – Entrances & First Dance (Bar closes
    during this time)

    5:15pm – Dinner (Bar reopens)

    6:15pm – Cake Cutting

    6:20pm – Dance Floor Opens

8:45pm – Last Call for Bar

I will say my husband's timeline was a little different because he did golf the morning of our wedding with his groomsmen and some close friends. He left the golf course at 12pm (his tee-time was 8:05am or something like that, lol), went back to his hotel, showered and then his groomsmen met him there around 1pm after they all went home and showered. Then they got dressed together and left for the venue at 2:30pm - his hotel was closer to the venue than mine so he left later and this also ensured that he would not see me before the wedding.
