Okay so we are staying at a hotel 20 minutes from the venue. We will be having a limo for bridal party, bride, groom. I also have a bridal suite at the venue that a lot of brides like to get in their dress at.
Problems: I want to have pictures of my dress hanging with all of the bridesmaids dresses. How would i do that if I got ready at the venue? I'd have to unpack my dress at the hotel, repack it in the limo, and unpack it at the venue again (and have it get wrinkled). Alternatively, all of us could get ready at the bridal suite at the venue, but then all of us would be getting into the limo in the PJ set I got all the bridesmaids which also isn't ideal. So either I miss out on being dressed in the limo, or I miss out on the experience of the bridal suite.
Additionally, what time would I have the limo come get us? The problem is that guest transportation arrives at the hotel at 4, departs at 4:15. This is the same hotel that I am getting ready at which is a problem in terms of people seeing me and timing of when to have the limo come get us. Ceremony starts at 5.
What would you do?? Would you get ready at hotel or at venue? How would you do getting ready pictures either way if you want pics of the dress hanging, etc.? Would you rather miss being dressed in the limo or at the suite? What time would you have the limo come get you?? I don't want to get there so early that I'm twiddling my thumbs but also don't want to leave when all the guests are there and could potentially see me before walking down the aisle . . .
