Timeline for getting ready

Are you doing a first look? Even if you are not, will you be doing any pictures with your bridal party before the ceremony or all after the ceremony? Your photographer will be the best person to help with your timeline to know when you should be ready for any pre-ceremony pictures. Our ceremony is at 5 pm, but with first look, photographer wants us to be ready by 1pm. I am starting to get ready at 9am because of that.

Hi same start time. For reference there are 6 girls getting ready so everything starts at 11:30. My goal is to be out of hotel no later than 5 to take a few pics before.

No first look. But I would like pics of myself and bridal party before the ceremony.

My wedding planner put together a very comprehensive day of schedule which is essentially as follows (6pm ceremony, me + 4 getting hair and make up done)

10-3pm

Essentially every hour there is a girl getting their hair done and a girl getting make up done (I am going 2nd to last for hair and last for make up)

3pm-4pm

Photographer and videographer show up for pictures with the bridesmaids and getting ready shots

4:00-4:40

Touch ups and last minute things

4:40

Head to venue

5:00-5:40

Family shots and more bridesmaids shots at the venue (not doing first look)

6:00pm

I would definitely recommend that the bride not go last for hair and makeup. I did this. My hair and makeup lady was running behind and I felt like she rushed when she was prepping me. I would build in extra time and plan on going second to last.

My ceremony is at 430. Hair and makeup start at 10 photographer will show up at 330 for getting ready pics. Then it'll be time to get married ?

Mine is at 5:30 also and my photographer wants us ready around 1:00. This worries me because I feel like I'm gonna need my makeup retouched before the ceremony

My ceremony is at 6:30 and we have 5 girls. My MUA is coming at 10 am, hair stylist at 12. We will all be done around 3 for photos and whatever else! Give or take some time

I hope you have at least 3 of each hair and make up and all of your girls are prepped for hair the night before.

I am going 1st. My MUA is there until after all the events are over. Im going 1st and I have 2 others going after. Im starting makeup at 12 leaving at 345 for my wedding at 430. The venue is 15 minutes away without traffic.

I would ask your photographer what time they want to start pictures if you are doing a first look. Then take that time to makeup artist and hair stylist to see what time they they will need to start.

Well...I don't have a bridal party so I won't have to worry about that lol. But, our ceremony starts at 4:15p so I am getting hair and make-up started at 10am.

Our ceremony starts at 4. My MUA is starting everyone's make up early @9 am it's gonna be a looooong day lol .

My ceremony is at 5:30 as well, we have 9 total people getting hair and makeup done with 3 stylists and we're starting at 10:30!

Our ceremony is at 5:30, us ladies are set to arrive by 3:30ish (no first look). Guys arrive at 4ish to do their pictures after us. I have hair and makeup arriving at 8a to be ready to start at 8:30a. I have four girls, myself and our moms for hair and makeup. We have two girls coming for HMUA, and they both can flip flop between the two. Good luck!
