Timeline for Bachelorette Party & Bridal Shower?

My bridal shower was 5 months before my wedding and my bachelorette was 2 days before (mostly because of distance). I think it's more typical to do the bachelorette somewhere from 2 months to 2 weeks before the wedding and the shower a month or two before.

My bridal shower will be in August, 3 months before the wedding. I am having a destination wedding, and the actual wedding will be on a Tuesday, I will be having the bachelorette party on the island the Friday before the wedding.

@KARLEY that sounds awesome! I am having my bridal shower the 29th of this month which is 2 months before the wedding and the bachlorette party is July 26th one month before. August is crazy for my family so Hume and July worked out better for us.

All three of my bridal showers were in May (My wedding is June 28th). My bachelorette party will be the week before my wedding.

My shower is July 20th and wedding September 26th. I have no idea about the bachelorette party my sister/MOH is planning it.

My bachlorette and one of my bridal showers are happening in December (three months before the wedding) because one of my bridesmaids live in London, and it is VERY important to me that she be included in those two events. Unfortunately, she's only making three trips to the states in the next 10 months. Once in August, December for the holidays, and March for the wedding.

I didn't want a bridal shower. Doing the bachelor/bachelorette party 6 weeks before the wedding. FH's friends are rowdy, so we are giving it enough time to let anything heal. lol

Mine is planned 2 months before our wedding.

I have one shower 3 months before my wedding and another one is 6 weeks before my wedding. My bachelorette party is exactly 4 weeks to the day before my wedding.

I think my bachelorette party will be august 9th. and my shower will be sometime at the end of september.

the reason my bachelorette is earlier is due to the events that are being planned are not available closer to the wedding.

My BMs are from all over the country (as are the groomsmen), so to make things compact and easier for everyone, we're having both parties two nights before the wedding (and the rehearsal the night before the wedding). This way people don't have to take off as much time from work - even if they're in the wedding, they only need to be in town Thur-Sun.

My shower was in April and my Bachelorette is a month before the wedding in June.
