How will your groom's look different from the groomsmen?

I prefer the look of the long tie. FI is wearing a very similar one. Could your groomsmen wear different color ties so he will stand out as the only white tie? That is what we are doing.

@Shannon- for us it'll be the color. If FH decides on a tie then his will be black and GM's will be in navy and my Dad will wear a bow tie. If FH wants a bow tie he'll just stand apart a bit more because I know GM's want ties.

FH wears nothing BUT Bow ties.... and they HAVE to be the one he self ties... no already tied bow ties for him he would snap!!! LOL..... The GM (his son and my two sons) will be wearing neck ties.....

@Erinwood and soontobeRTR I was thinking of white for FH and the light pink color shown in the picture for he groomsmen and fathers (Ikr I can't believe that is pink either lol) but i thoufht it would look weird since my dress and the shurts will be ivory

I want my honey to wear a bow tie so badly but he refuses, I think they just had that formality about them.

I love the bow tie, I wish I could get FH and his GM to wear bow ties but that's one thing he won't budge on. I think bow ties are so handsome!

I don't mind the bowtie at all, I just think the tie looks like it flows better with that tux. I was joking with FH about him looking good in everything which made it so dang hard to decide lol

Shannon - H's bout matched my bouquet and the GM bouts matched the BM bouquets. All of the men wore black tuxes with black bow ties

I'll add that I don't think there's a need for the groom to drastically stand out from the groomsmen... Everyone there should know who the groom is.
