Our first date! Was a food truck date!

We got engaged in August 2022 and our wedding is in May 2025. Everybody gives us a hard time about having a long engagement but that’s what we want.

Soon to be Married on June 16th 2023

This is hubby and me on our Wedding Day in 1985! We had a small church wedding but because I was divorced, I couldn't have a Roman Catholic ceremony at the time. The first marriage is now annulled and in June, right after our 38th anniversary, we are having a "convalidation" at my church - a wedding ceremony for Catholics who were not previously married in the Catholic Church. It will be an exchange of vows and (our original) wedding rings near the end of Mass on the Sunday closest to our anniversary. The choir, of which I am a member, will sing that day anyway, and the organist/choir/music director who is my BFF, is also my MOH. Our son is Best Man and his young children will participate as well. My MOH and her husband will host a small dinner party for the 7 of us and the priest at a nearby restaurant. We are all very excited!!
