Thoughts on Vistaprint??

Brittany, on September 21, 2012 at 10:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

Anyone who has used vistaprint for invitations, save-the-dates, etc.... what did you think about the pricing and the quality of the materials?

Would you like them to send you free samples so you can see ad feel it yourself?

Here is a link to have them send you Wedding paper samples. Linen is pretty nice.

and free sample of rack cards and glossy finish postcards (we have thought up many creative ways to use the business items for wedding reasons)

I know a lot of girls have used vistaprint. If you visit their website, you can request samples on their invitations. I think the matte is the best.

Hayley beat me by a minute. Great minds think alike lol!

I made small event invitations and menu cards, on Vista Print. They did a great job.

The invitations and RSVP cards were done at a local printer.

Here is an example of Vista Prints work for me, for my daughters Bridesmaids Lunch.

this is the link for my save the date magnets and business cards i just got in the mail today. they are good quality and paired with a groupon it is a great savings (i spent about 27 on groupon and 7 day shipping combine)

this is my total score on VP with various products using their free promo links and spending about 5 bucks an order with 6 total orders so overall spending is about just shy of 60 bucks (rounding up including save the dates etc)

Check out Hayley's profile for a BILLION ideas on how to use VP to its best Smiley smile

Overall I've been pleased with my magnets, invitations, and rack cards (ISPY). The RSVP postcards I had printed three times and the coloring was off on my uploaded images, even after changing them, and I've talked to two representatives about refunds but have yet to see the money. However, any time I've spoken with customer service it's been great.

If the coloring wouldn't have been off, I'd LOVE all of it!

I did buy my own envelopes though, and they are simple invites compared to all the pocket fold and fancy embellished ones BUT I'll save a ton of money on postage!

I got all of my items for the wedding about a month ago. I think the quality of the regular matte is great for what I used it for -- table cards, and rehearsal dinner invites. The recycled matte is a great option for something a little sturdier, but not as expensive as the lined. And the price can't be beat. Smiley laugh Here's my haul (sorry for the link overload!) to see what you can do for cheap.

Hi ladies! I haven't posted for a while, but I wanted to share ...

I used Vistaprint for my invites, RSVP postcards, direction cards and thank you cards. Decided to go with the recycled paper (we like to be "green" in California!) and I really loved my invitation suite!

I've attached a photo of my invite ... good luck and congratulations!

I got my magnet save the dates from here and absolutely love them! I ended up getting the large ones on accident... much bigger than I intended but that's ok. I used a groupon for them of course and only ended up spending $38 total for them. I'll be getting our invitations from there too - so I hope they come out great! I would definitely go for VP if you are ordering. You'll save money and you'll be happy with the product.

We made our own postcards as save the dates on there...lots of compliments on them. In addition, I've used them to make graduation invitations for college and grad school & birthday party invitations & Christmas cards. Never disappointed!

My company have had been using Vistaprint's services for over a year and they do great work at very reasonable prices. Until one Sunday morning we kept getting phone calls to our personal cell phone number. We were asleep and kept rejecting the calls. We finally answered to a sales person from Vistaprint. We asked them where they got our personal number and they stated that they sifted through past orders until they found a number that would pick up. This is slimy and unethical and very unprofessional to harass customers on a weekend, a Sunday and early morning when people are still asleep. We asked to escalate this issue to a supervisor three times and each time the "help" rep stated that a supervisor would call or email. They never did. We will never us Vistaprint again. It is too bad. They had a good thing going until they got desperate to make money.
