Thoughts on all low centerpieces

Alicia, on August 11, 2021 at 9:17 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
Hello ,
I recently got a quote from multiple florists and the high centerpieces are much more expensive then the low centerpieces.
I’ve seen multiple weddings where they alternate high and low but wanted to get thoughts on going with all low centerpieces.
I want the wedding to look elegant and am not sure if removing high centerpieces will take away from that.
Thoughts?

It would be fine. Honestly, high centerpieces tend to be a pain because it makes it difficult to talk across the table because there's a vase in your face, blocking your view.

I think it’s fine. I don’t like the tall centerpieces myself because they block your view when talking to people at your table.

We are doing all low centerpieces so people can see over them to see each other. Our venue also doesn’t have real high ceilings so the tall made the room look even smaller. I don’t think the height matters, as long as you like them and you have beautiful flowers they will look amazing at any height.

I think low is better actually. high centerpieces get in the way of socializing with people at the table

We're doing a mix of high and low. We have tables of 10 (square) and 8 (round) so our high ones will only be at the ten tops and the 8 tops will have the low. It's like now seeing this, I wasn't even thinking about blocking views 🤦🏽‍♀️

We’ve got around 10 tables and just doing low with an LED candle in the middle. I was concerned about people being blocked when talking to each other across the table. Pretty much everyone knows each other.

We're doing low only. I don't want there to be obstructions to vision.

We are doing all low! Low can look very elegant and nice. If it saves you some money and you don’t mind the look stick with the low centerpieces.

As a guest, I prefer low centerpieces because they don’t obstruct conversations. Most centerpieces I have seen online, both Pinterest and Instagram, are low and they look very elegant.

You can absolutely do all low centerpieces and still have a very elegant feel!! There is nothing wrong with that. I think guests for sure prefer it anyway. What kind of centerpieces did you have in mind and what type of flowers were you thinking? Here's just a few ideas I found that are so pretty and so elegant.

If you’re going with a more romantic feel, candles and mirrors are a very budget friendly way to go. This display I’m going for is about $15. I do need to buy fresh greenery and flowers. I’ll probably try to get a quote from a florist to see how much they’d charge for the floral part of it, but since it’s super simple, I may just do it myself. Thoughts on all low centerpieces 4

No matter what kind of florists you choose, I think a artificial flower manufacturer you should consider, it will save you a lot of money.
