Thought i was spared.....

Sabrina, on October 16, 2019 at 10:10 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7
I have seen some of your posts about dreams and thought, yea, that won't happen to me. Boy was I wrong. If I did dream, I thought it would be closer to the wedding. I have taken on the task of flowers and centerpieces (long story short but FH wanted his ex to do them, and while I considered it, we decided it wasn't worth any fall out...she is invited to the wedding with her husband - they also wanted to pay for our honeymoon and that was a big fat NO from me too SMH). Anyways, back on track - so my dreams are about the centerpieces getting messed up, not having enough time to get them set up, trusting someone else to do it and them messing it up, etc. So I feel like I really need to figure this out.
The plan is real flowers with lanterns with the flowers spilling out with lights on the inside surrounded by greenery and alternating tables with manzanita trees. I woke up this morning trying to figure out how to maintain the freshness of the flowers that will spill out of the lanterns and how I will keep it cohesive. Now I am considering fake flowers. Pray for me girls.

Wedding dreams I always felt stemmed from things we are actually anxious about. Anyway, fake flowers now a days look really good.

Wedding planning can consume our days; it makes sense that it eventually find its way into our nights!

Have you booked someone to do your centerpieces for you or have you decided to do them yourself?

I have decided to do them myself with some help from some of the wedding party. I am trying to figure out how real flowers will survive without water for 2 days or if fake flowers is the only option. Going through some trials now in hopes of figuring it out.

Definitely a good idea to trial it! It really is the best way to gauge how long they will survive. What type of flowers are you using?

Besides sunflowers, I truly don't have a clue, except that I will not be using lilies. But white flowers with pops of blue, but I dont know what shade of blue.

Thank you. I have some of the same pictures pinned. It will all come down to actually trying to put everything together myself and playing around to see what I like. Fingers crossed.
