Hi ladies, my mom came up with a really cool idea and I want to go for it. She said that maybe I should serve caramel apples at my reception and I loved the idea, the thing is my grandma loves caramel apples but she can't chew them. So I was gonna have apple slices and let people dip it in caramel....

My gram dilutes the lemon juice. One gallon water to about 1/2 cup lemon juice. Or salt water works well too.

I not sure you can find it easy. People who do home canning use a product called fruit fresh. It has the citrus and ascorbic acid in it. Plus gives you the directions on how best to use it.

Another idea might be to have regular carmel apples for all of the guests, and have a special cut up one for your Grandmother! =)
