I'm getting married for the third time. First time was too young and ended in divorce after a year. Second time my husband died (a few years ago) of cancer. This time is the charm, and my first real wedding (the first two were courthouse weddings). Many know of my second husband, but few know of my first. I'm having a blast planning... and this is his first wedding! We're both in our forties.
Anyway, we're having an Edwardian-themed wedding. Think Downton Abbey. I've selected a silver dress to match my silver and royal blue colors. Is this weird or inappropriate? I adore my dress, my silver brooch bouquet, and everything else, which I know is really what matters, but I don't want to be inappropriate either.
Please advise. I have plenty of time to get another dress if I want to.
