As long as you and your future spouse are on the same page, there isn’t a bad way to get married.

I was talking to my future spouse about it today.
And he is on board with whatever.
He is for it ! If we choose to go that way

If a courthouse wedding is what seems best for you as a couple, then it's definitely a good route to go! 😊

There are some stunning courthouses and sweet photos I’ve seen! Just the two of you? Or with a few friends & family members?

Courthouse weddings can be absolutely adorable! The photographer that took our engagement photos shot this adorable courthouse wedding. The couple got married at a Chicago courthouse, then took pictures walking around the city.

That’s something only you and your fiancé can answer. Some couples choose to go that route because they don’t want to share their day with more than a couple friends and they don’t want a huge party with elaborate ceremony and they don’t regret it after. Other couples go the court house route and immediately have regrets because they really did want all the hoopla that a court house avoids and then follow up with “we got married but we didn’t have a wedding because the court house ceremony was fake and for legalities only”. That is highly disrespectful to those who intentionally wanted the simple wedding. And the court house will win the argument over whether it is a real valid wedding or not. So think long and hard before you ultimately decide.

My actual wedding celebration (ceremony + reception) Is July 16 2022. But we did a court house Wedding on June 5th 2021. We just focused on what’s important and we wanted to be married and didn’t let the money get in the way of that. We wanted a full on wedding but we couldn’t Afford it within the time the frame. So we got married and planning or wedding celebration for July 2022. I hope this helps.

It’s all about what you two want and what’s important to you both! Whose to say you can’t have both or one or the other? It’s all up to you two!

It is! And it’s super cute as everyone posted However, with covid going on, many cities are not holding courthouse ceremonies. I wouldve gone this route but it wasn’t an option.
The courthouse in our county wasn’t even in a nice room in city hall. It was an office with cubicles with plexiglass.
