What are some things you wish you remembered on your wedding day? Or would have thought to bring? I’m so nervous about forgetting something or not even thinking about something I would need I don’t even know what I don’t know! Oh my!!😂😂 sure it’s funny now but in the moment I bet y’all were stressed! It’s like you have one job! I’m gonna tell my fiancé this story I think he will get a kick out of it but also see it as a warning 😂

No, I had my Wedding Facebook lived without my knowledge. I didn’t even know until the next month.

I just don’t understand why people feel the need to share OTHER people’s moment or news.
    🤔

It almost felt like that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, where Robert messes up the invitations on purpose, so that Amy will just take over all the planning.

Thank goodness I didn’t let him do the invites. No “attire optional” guests for our wedding! 😂

Well talk about an “unplugged” wedding 😂 I feel like I’m Ross in the episode where he keeps yelling “I’m fine” when he clearly loosing it and then start making margaritas🤷🏻‍♀️

For the tote people - lol!

If you need more than 1 tote for something, like the reception, label them as Reception 1 of (total number of totes for the reception), Reception 2 of (total number of totes for the reception), Reception 3 of (total number of totes for the reception), etc. Then you'll know you need to have 3 of them to have everything. If you have 5 totes for the reception, then you label them Reception 1 of 5, Reception 2 of 5, etc. If you have 3 totes for the reception, then it's Reception 1 of 3, Reception 2 of 3, and Reception 3 of 3. *** Make sure to mention the location or person for the tote in the title, so Reception 2 of 3 doesn't get mistaken for Ceremony 2 of 3. LOL! By doing this you'll make sure you don't forget one!***

Also if you take something out of a tote make a mark/note on the list -so you know to put it back! lol!

We were really thankful that we brought TUMS with us because we both had a bit of a stomach ache the day of. Also, chapstick, ibuprofen/Tylenol, and snacks for before the ceremony. We ate maybe a few bites of food during our reception.

Oh! That’s another thing: if you want to have some of your wedding reception food saved for you to eat later, make sure you ask someone to do that and remind them of that (if they’re willing—maybe your day of coordinator or MCs); we forgot to do that, and we didn’t really get much of our reception food after.

Oh yeah! I’ve already asked my maid of honor to stash a few plates for us bc so many people have said that you don’t even get time eat! And I’ve already thought about packing hot Cheetos into the car we’re driving in 😂 but the tums and Tylenol are good ideas!!

Oh my gosh! Such great advice. I'm making note of all this too Aariel! Thank you ladies! I am so not the most organized person so setting myself up for success ahead of time will be key!

Facebook live stream?!?! Umm. NO. Unacceptable. I'm sorry that took place without your knowledge or permission!

Unplugged ceremony & reception... Yes please! I feel like that should be on the invite too... No?

    Fashion tape!

The neckline of my gown kept folding under on my left side, and disappearing.

Tiny, tiny, TINY annoyance, but could have been so easily fixed!

No, a sign should suffice for cognizant adults.

Maybe have your Hostesses and Ushers remind anyone that might need it.
It’s really disturbing to see so many phones in my Professional Photos.

I saw a photo online... I'm sure it's gone viral. A photographer posted it I believe of a shot of the bride coming down the aisle and all you see is a line of cell phones on either side. Ridiculous.

My Fh got his male groomsmen mugs from things remembered with their names on it. It’s in like medieval font and the mugs are silver with a glass bottom

A lot of co-workers have recently tied the knot and everyone of them has said they wish they would have had a smaller wedding party and not invited as many people. Each one has said that they didn't say hi to everyone as there was no time and they never got to eat.

Our wedding is small and a destination to which my coworkers said they wish they would have done that as they each went about 10K over their budget.

Right here!!! Okay, I am glad I remembered an extra set of contacts and glasses and multi purpose solution. If you are getting married in a church, they require you to leave the license there and if not, PUT IT IN YOUR CAR NOW. Our officiant was a friend so had we forgot it we could have swung by our house to sign it but signing it at the reception made for some nice pictures.

If possible, have a small bridal party. These forums are littered with "I want to fire my maid of honor!" Too many people are just stress inducing, lol. Skip favors - unless it is commercially prepared food, no one wants it. Sorry.

Appropriate snacks - protein based items that won't get stuck in your teeth. Clear liquids with straws!!! Or wear a bib, lol!!!

Remove all chewing gum and ask all attendants to do so. Still have a picture of my sister from my first wedding and yes there is a big green gob in her mouth. Oh well.......

EAT BREAKFAST and STAY HYDRATED especially if you took in adult beverages the night before.

Toothpicks and floss, breathmints, chapstick, extra lipstick.

Get a tote back and put stuff in there AS YOU THINK OF IT or you will forget.

    My own camera.

If something goes wrong, just remember no one will probably notice.

Don't stress over things you can't control weather, traffic, Uncle Gary getting hammered. Just ask security to Uber him home.
