Things that melts my butter....it makes u say awwwww

Ms. Boop, on December 10, 2010 at 3:11 PM Posted in Planning 0 51

We discussed the angry things that burn our toast. Now lets discuss the sweet things that melt our butter. Things that make you say awwwww!

1) To see old men still open the door for their wives. awwww

2) Little boys who are bad all day until they get sleepy and they craw in their mommies lap and rest their heads on her chest while rubbing their little eyes.

3) when I see loving young couples grocery shop together.

When FH and I were grocery shopping the other night we saw a little old woman teaching her grandson and his girlfriend how to grocery shop and get the best deals on stuff. We both thought it was too cute!

The first thing FH does when he gets home- come up and hug and kiss me. It never fails, arms full of stuff, on the phone, has to pee like a racehorse... My kiss is first!

    My son's dimples

My daughter dressed up in all her "princess gear"

Aww these are great butter melters. Outside of the things DS does for me, I love it when a person, against the popular opinion of others, stands up for someone who is the target of cruel or unkind or jeering remarks, or who is being bullied.

    1- Puppies! (I'm such a girl)

2- Babies dressed in outfits of their parent's military service (baby dress blues? staple in my future baby's closet)

3- When FH kisses my boo-boos, even if he's the one that gave it to me (sometimes he forgets that I'm not a boy!

Every night before bed, i kiss my 2yr old goodnight...she always follows it up by saying(in the cutest little baby voice) 'big hugs mommy, big hugs' and she squeezes me and pats her little palms on my back.

There's also nothing better than seeing a man love on his baby, being every so sweet and tender, like nothing in this world matters.

Happy babies. Babies that wake up with a smile.

My daughter's excitement about the wedding. She is designing the peacock for our stationary, and wants to give the toast (she will do a toast, followed by an adult lol). After she asked me I walked off and cried. WTF?

My lab Jazzmine. She loves to crawl under my legs when I'm sitting, and will go to sleep.

My FS when he starts drinking:

He went on about his being excited about the house, and getting married. He says he doesn't want to wait too long. Then he goes into this thing about not stringing me along. I said I know you're not, we just got engaged in March and we're buying a new house, then I point to the ring. Then asks if I just want to get married sooner and have a big wedding later. Then he says he thinks I want a big event because I watch Bridezillas, and I'm here on WW! I said I want the total opposite. He likes Annapolis and wants to get married in one of the hotels there. (I hope we can find a happy medium)

    Aww I love all these

-Def anything older couple related who are still so in love - holding doors, pulling out chairs, dancing together, laughing just love it all

-Also anything baby/puppy related... they are just so innocent and full of love

-Small kindnesses - like buying the person who is behind you in lines coffee or paying for the dinner of a person in military uniform... its such a small thing that can make someones day

-FH does this thing with his hands to his face when he's excited... it's like he can't contain himself and just looks like a little kid... melts my heart every time Smiley smile

Military & police dogs. Airplanes (I've informed many times that a warfighter which can carry a payload to destroy a city is not "cute", but it's still cute!), sports cars, shoes & fudge. Yes, I'm strange. I understand that.

I swear I feel like I always comment immediatley after Nicole. I'm not a stalker, I swear!!

-When my clumsy dog tries to jump onto the couch/bed and under aims and hits it head first.

-When I see anyone help anyone who they do not know.

-When the guy at the liquor store gives me a discount because I talk to him about his family. That hasn't happened yet, but I'm waiting.

-When kids try to do anything that they aren't really developed enough for (drawing a "spaceship," doing something similar to a belly flop and calling it a "cartwheel," and so on).

-When FS gets me the corniest gifts
